"Schools For Chiapas" financing the construction of free and autonomous schools in Zapatista self-managed community in Chiapas.
The organization invests in the Zapatista health system as well as in organic farming of Chiapas, which is threatened by GMO contamination.
Moreover, S.f.C regularly organizes trips in the area, in order to bring help to the Zapatista community.

According to the organization :

- $25 is used to grow organic food and trees
- $35 is used to purchase seeds and tools for a school garden
- $60 is used to test 48 corn plants to verify the GMO contamination
- $100 used to buy a bulletin board for the middle class
- $120 used to purchase educational materials for middle class
- $360 used to form an health specialist for 1 year
- $600 pays for a teacher for 1 year
- $750 used to buy desks for working class
- $10.500 funding the construction of a small school

January, 1st 2014 marked the 20th birthday of the EZLN, the Zapatista autonomous army, after the uprising in Chiapas.

« Schools For Chiapas » finance la construction d’écoles gratuites et autonomes dans les communauté zapatistes auto-gérées au Chiapas. L’organisation investit aussi dans le système de santé des zapatistes ainsi que dans l’agriculture biologique du Chiapas qui est menacée par la contamination OGM. Le 1er janvier 2014 marquait le 20ième anniversaire de l’EZLN, l’armée autonome zapatiste issue de l’insurrection au Chiapas. En 20 ans, le mouvement zapatiste a formé plus de 32 municipalités auto-gérées où le peuple se dirige par lui-même.
