https://www.thechangebook.org/autogestion/

Self-management : from Greek "autos", oneself, and the Latin "gestio" action management, administration.

In its classic definition, self-management is, for an individuals group or a structure considered, to take decisions about this group or structure by all its members :

- for transparency and the legitimacy of decisions,

- By asserting humans ability's to organize themselves without leaders.

Beyond the theory, there are near you, cooperative societies, neighborhood boards, companies whose employees regain control and self-manage, democracy in the struggles, neighborhood councils, educational experiments in popular education, occupyed empty buildings, etc. There are many examples of its practice, for some very successful.

And on the Internet, there is also TheChangeBook.

Since network's creation, in August 2012, we are pursuing the idea of a democratic space run entirely by its members, experts or not. For pounding the web, or for curiosity, to see what we could learn. Also, democracy and self-management are constantly the focus of our research, both on the operating rules and the technical management of the network. Therefore, from the beginning, we lay the foundation for such a system, constantly offering ideas for to experiment and improve it, and then we debatef for to engage an operationel process when the idea is collectively retained. Each of these trails made TCB as it is became today and what it will become tomorrow thanks to network members involvement.

To extend direct democracy, which is the strength of our commitment, we set goals and promote values :

- Allow struggles's convergence in all their differences in openness and respect for everyone regardless of origin, gender, complexion, or even religion. Connect the struggles and events of various resistances to get it aggregate ;

- circulate verified and sourced informations which are little reported by the media, or information from medias involved in this resistance (press, music, web, books, movies ...)

- to highlight misinformation, various manipulations carried out by political parties, the media, or people;

- Create or relaying dynamic alternatives : woofing, gratiférias, ethical companies, cooperatives, agricultural dynamics or rearing, habitat, consumption, ...

- Educational objective : to allow through dialogue, meetings (virtual or real), sharing experiences, ideas and know-how in all alternatives areas, political, cultural, economic, ...

- Aggregate resistance to fascist, sexist, xenophobic and racist;

- Participate in the emergence and the establishment of a system of social organization more just, more equitable, more interesting, more meaningful, more fulfilling less deadly and less devastating, non-market, less absurd or more logical that 'current...
